So were cavemen (if you believe in that sort of thing). The modern Starch-based diet is a man-made construct, and our bodies are not all equipped to handle the blood suger bombs that starch deploys into our bloodstreams at every meal. Type 2 diabetics should eliminate starch from their diets.
