However I will not give you the names or numbers of active duty military I have spoken while researching this topic. In addition to having personal experience I have spoken with a lot of current members.

I strongly suggest that you base your article on independently verifiable sources ... your personal expertise, of course, will tell you what and where those verifiable sources are and inform your analysis of them.
I don't throw brick at allies.
