Dallas-Five days ago, it was just a cardboard cutout at a store in the mall.
But after what happened in Connecticut, some are calling this opportunity to pose as Walker, Texas Ranger, with guns blazing, in poor taste.
When a Dallas woman, toting two small children under the age of five saw it, she did something about it.
Mahra Pailet took a trip to NorthPark Center Monday. Pailet thought about her 14-year-old, who didnt make the trip, when she spotted Urban Outfitters. She stepped in to look around.
About 20-feet into the store, I was confronted by a huge cutout of Chuck Norris. It was about 7 feet tall, a plywood cutout of Chuck Norris in character holding two guns. And it stopped me cold, she said...

The way I read the headline I thought that Chuck Norris had stopped raising his eyebrows and fists as a result of the tragedy in Connecticut.
What we have now is a matriarchy run by emasculated males & a few alpha females.
At work, I had a desktop picture of Navy Sailors, in cammies, taking part in rifle training. They had their ARs raised and were advancing. The picture is taken from the assailants’ POV so the rifles are aimed at the photographer. It was a cool pic but my cube mate complained to the supervisor that he didn’t like those guns pointing at him. I wanted to slap the guy. I had to take the picture off my screen.
Valerie Jarret, Oprah Winfrey, Big Sis and Michelle Obama pretty much run the joint.
Was he spotting?
Yep. It is like 1968 all over again.
Now cut that out!
A lot of gun manufacturers were in support of 68 also to stop the import of some guns.
Lets hope we learned a lesson from those mistakes.
Why is it that all of these people always blame the tool and not the person. That young man was mentally ill and if mom did not have guns he would have used something else, mom’s car or he could have made a bomb or started a fire, what would all of these idiots be demanding the banning of then?
“But after what happened in Connecticut, some are calling this opportunity to pose as Walker, Texas Ranger, with guns blazing, in poor taste.”
Some are calling? The story sounds more like “one is calling”, and that one person’s loony thought process just happens to dovetail with the journalist’s loony thought process.
LOL! I’m not sure.
Looks like someone can’t tell the difference between fantasy and reality...
Should we ban all John Wayne movies, too?
What ISN’T raising eyebrows since the shooting? Maybe that list would be shorter.
I’m fast getting fed up with the emotional, feminized response to this tragedy. Everybody feels they have to go get counseling and light a candle and proceed to wallow.
It's all in the timing. Nobody complained about it before. And if they put it away and bring it back again in a few months, maybe nobody will complain then.
Because in our society everyone is a victim..can’t pay your mortgage bill, its not your fault for purchasing a house you can’t afford, nope, its the fault of the bank. Its the victim hood mentality..inspired by progressives and their “Social justice” agenda..no one is responsible for their actions anymore, its always someone elses fault
I agree. This is insane.
A few years ago there was a pretty heated local debate about a naked baby on a billboard in the cold Michigan winter.
The American population largely consists of morons.
I change the channel if anyone is discussing it anymore.

To the author, re-check the cutout figure. The charicture is holding two guns, they are not “blazing”.
