Yeah, right.
If the other crap hasn’t done it, one more won’t do it.

But I imagine that a lot of individuals will ‘secede’ in their own little ways.

Yep. If Dumbo ventures much farther in the point on this mission, he’ll trigger backlash that cannoy be predicted.

We do need to separate, but not by state but by the major red and blue lines. There needs to be a major split in Cali as well.

The new Constitutional states of America need to instantly regroup and control the export of all fuel, food, power and water. It will be available to the Socialist obama world but at our price..... And since the vast majority of our land defense assets and missiles are now contained by the new CSA we are going to have to do some additional dealings of providing for the defense of the SSA. (socialist states of America)

I’m wondering just how much crap the socialists can talk when they have almost no food, water, power, and not even a place to dump their garbage.

It is time for them to be bluntly told that if they do not like our nations constitution then get the hell our of it. Make your own country and leave the true Americans out of it. We are better off without you.

Sadly, if parents / guardians only took the responsibility to make sure that their children were taught the Constitution and its history, I don't think that federal government threats to our gun rights would be a major issue.

More specifically, not only did John Bingham, the main author of Sec. 1 of the 14th Amendment, officially clarify that the 2nd Amendment protects personal rights, but he also indicated that 14A applied 2A gun right protections to the states.

See 2A (Article II) in the middle column on the page at the following link. The page is from the Congressional Globe, aka the congressional record of the mid 19th century.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news.

No there won’t be secession.

Yes. There will be gun control. Yesterday was a watershed moment.

I would like to see the states “seceed” by refusing to pay some of the taxes that the federal government imposes on them. Taxes are what support the Democrat/socialist/communist regime.

Suppose a state were to pass a statute officially stating that the state recognized that a particular federal statute was contrary to the Constitution and was therefore illegitimate. Suppose further that the state initiated a public-relations campaign to inform all its citizens that if they were ever called for jury service in a case involving that statute, not only would they have a right and duty to recognize the statute’s illegitimacy, but they would also have a right and duty to frustrate any efforts to exclude from the jury those who recognize the statute’s illegitimacy? The Constitution plainly states that someone accused of committing a crime in a particular state has a right to a trial by jury of citizens from that state. If any jury empaneled by the federal government with citizens of a particular state would refuse to enforce a particular statute, what power would the federal government have?

A pro Constitution article from Boulder, Colorado - that writer must drink only bottled water.

Why bottled water? Because Boulder is so extremely Liberal that given the obvious fact “Boulder Dementia Syndrome” is endemic in the area, it must be something in the water.

Repeal of the 2nd Amendment is foolishness proposed from time to time by people who do not comprehend the nature of our rights...

The right to self defense and by corollary the means to secure it is a natural right and inalienable...

Natural rights are rights not contingent upon the laws, customs, or beliefs of any particular culture or government, and therefore universal and inalienable.

The natural rights guaranteed by the Bill of Rights aka the first ten amendments to the Constitution of the United States are inalienable, and cannot be bought, sold, or transferred from one individual to another.

Of course, none of this will deter those intent on having their way despite such “technicalities”..They will likely try and soon, given the recent window of opportunity they believe Sandy Hook has now provided...

They are wrong this time, too, and may have to be shown their error...

Our inalienable natural rights are worth fighting for...
