Android will further solidify its market leadership in the smartphone operating system race in 2013, thanks to a broad support from smartphone vendors and the rollout of a wide range of low-priced models for sale in emerging markets. Shipments of Android phones are expected to top 600 million units or over 70% of global smartphone shipments in 2013, Digitimes Research estimates.

Suck on THAT, iPhone snobs!! ;)
Only 70%? Suck on that Android robots!
Yes, but the iPhone looks purdier and is simpler to use. /s
I just got a Nokia Lumia 920 with Windows Phone 8. This is a whole new way of doing stuff! I am a n iPhone user as well. There is no comparison.
Plus, with the Android phone, you can blow holes in walls. Take that Apple!
BoostMobile Hydro, month 2 month, $80 to own, $55 monty unlim data voice text. No contract!
+1
U can submerge the hydro for 30 min with no harm, even swim with it. Ice cream sandwich version of droid. CHEAP AS HECK...!
Got some links?
I should have waited a month...! Now its even CHEAPER...!!!

buy it ONLINE —if you’re a sucker who goes in person to deal with some dumb human I think to buy the phone it’s like $130...much cheaper online and to set it up remotely yourself (FOR FREE) is soooo easy —takes like 5 min.
This is the first smartphone I have owned —I’m using it right now in Starbucks to type this...
The only part I don’t like about the Hydro is that the camera/video is not so hot —no clear resolution like you see on iPhone or Samsung.
Other than just THAT, it’s fatastic —the monthly charge really was
Got a verizon clamshell for emergency use...but messages are impossible for me to read with my bad vision.
Naw, it’s touch responsive and you can pin and pull the screen out to the side, making the font waaaay bigger.
Online I found a T-mobile battery boost pack for $10 —recharges many many phones via micro USB in case you start running low on juice.
I have like 20 apps on my hydro droid now —all free.
So far it has been great 2 me and if they try to add some mystery fee, then I can instantly walk away.
Now that the phone is $70 who really cares if you lose it? not a huge tragedgy like if it had been an iPhone 5.
Sorry I forgot:
If you pay ontime for 6 months then your monthly bill goes down to $50, and if you are a good boy for another 6 months, then it will go to $45.
I think that it stops going down after that, though.
They know you can walk away no prob, so apparently this is their way of trying to keep u, sorta like with a contract.
That looks like a fantastic phone, just for the camera alone!
I dumped my iPhone and the expensive monthly contract and bought a LG Motion smartphone - It has the Snapdragon Dual Core Processor running at 1.5GHZ, 1GB of Memory, 5GB of Storage, Micro SD slot capable of expanding storage to 32GB, HD Still and Video Camera with LED Flash, Voice to Text, Voice recognition, etc... all for $100.00 plus tax. They are now $150.00, but still well worth the price.
I bought it thru Metro PCS and I have unlimited Talk and Text for $30.00 per month total. 250MB of Data on the 4GLTE network, but since I have WiFi at Home, Work and even on the Bus I take to work, I don’t need much MB of Data and use only about 150MB per month, if that. Metro has other plans for those that use more Data.
The phone is blazing fast and is running ICS (Android 4.0.4 aka Ice Cream Sandwich) and while the screen res isn’t as sharp as the iPhone, the O/S is far more versatile and user customizable.
And I’m saving $50.00 a month and no contract.
No dropped calls either.
Contracts are for suckers. I advise people to dump their
“con” tract as soon as they can and get one of the many month-to-month services.
I found Metro PCS to be the best, plus they have the best selection of phones.
The LG Motion is by far the best “Bang for the Buck” mid-level smart phone on the market.
For big spenders, they have the Samsung Galaxy S-III
They also have 4G phones starting at $79.00
I highly recommend the LG Motion smart phone - it is on par with the iPhone 4S for a fraction of the cost and the monthly service plan is dirt cheap.
