Drawbridge Inn To Close For Good on Sunday (Fort Mitchell, Kentucky)

The Fort Mitchell landmark the Drawbridge Hotel and Convention Center is closing for good. Owners announced the closure, which takes effect on Sunday.
The Drawbridge has been open on Buttermilk Pike for 42 years and has hosted 4,500 events.
Managers say, "The closing of the hotel will allow the new ownership time to clearly focus on future opportunities for the site and weigh the feasibility of remaining in the hospitality industry." The inn was placed under new owners in 2009, and was renovated at that time...

This place is not to far from downtown Cincinnati, and used to be the place to go for food, conventions, seminars, and dances.

This is kind of sad. I used to go there as a kid. At the time it was like a castle inside. The restaurant was like something out of medieval times, with pewter mugs and plates.
