I don't want to divert your thread but I've got a Boot Dewhurst in 2014 ping list that I'll post on your thread with your permission.
One thing for sure is that we need to get rid of the liberals (of any party) in Texas politics.

To: JRandomFreeper
Please add me to your Ping List. Dewhurst and Strauss need to be gone.

Shame, that. And he's one of the post-the-blog and run types obviously, since he doesn't respond to comments on the thread.
There are people active on FR that are trying to get rid of some of the GOP-E types in Austin. I've got the pinglist to get rid of Dewhurst.

Where do I sign up? Dittos. Both Straus and Dewhurst need to be retired yesterday. This coming legislative session is as critical for Texas, as the 2012 election was for the (formerly United) States.

All I've got is the Dewhurst pinglist. Don't know if there is one for Straus yet.
Give Dewhurst the Boot in 2014 (((Ping List)))
To be added or removed from this list, freepmail me.
This is a low volume ping list at this time.

Don’t let it bother you. Have you been appointed the FR Police? If so, lets see your credentials.

Have you been appointed the FR Police? If so, lets see your credentials. Yours first. You're asking for credentials, while I simply asked a polite question.
Now tell me who is being a thread cop.

    Thanks, Johnny.
Here's a good place for folks to start, if they truly want to help get Straus and Dewhurst out of the way in the upcoming legislative session:

I intend to post a thread quarterly starting in 2013 so that Freepers in Texas can coordinate campaigns and share information to retire Dewhurst.
Thanks for the link. It's added to my resource notes.

Here in Michigan I have a trophy RINO in my sights. There has been talk of him running for Levin's seat and I'm giving fair warning that he needs to retire.
2012 Senate Bill 1363: Allow higher residential utility rates to subsidize Hemlock Semiconductor.

Introduced by Sen. Roger Kahn (R) on November 8, 2012, to allow the indefinite continuation of the special electricity rates granted by Consumers Energy to the Hemlock Semiconductor subsidiary of Dow Corning, which under a 2010 law were exempted from a ban on cross-subsidization between residential and commercial/industrial customers (meaning residential customers pay more so that Hemlock can pay less). Hemlock was one of the recipients of extensive state subsidies extensive state subsidies granted by the previous two legislatures to electric car battery, photovoltaic solar cell, and other renewable energy companies.
 KAHN!!!!!!

I've been considering a weekly Michigan legislative news thread myself. I think its time to take on all the state legislatures.

One of my favorite State Reps. stood his ground and voted against Strauss much to the warnings of many who felt he was going to get lousy committee assignments. Well come to find out he was right and many including myself were wrong.
He is my hero and the absolute best State Rep in Texas. His newest protege’ who was recently elected is also opposing Strauss. God Bless Texas.
