Apparently one of the better cranio patients.
Today and tomorrow should be the worst days then (he will) start feeling better
What a beautiful little boy. He looks like he’s dreaming good dreams.
Bless his little heart.
Will keep the little guy in my prayers.

Prayers up for his complete recovery, and for all his family’s needs!
Yesterday was a bad day for Keegan. He didn't eat or drink anything all day. That might have been caused by the fact the he slept all day. His eyes were completely swollen shut so his sense of balance was thrown off. Also he was spitting up for whatever reason. By midnight the swelling had reduce and he was pulling up to the sides of his crib and causing his pulse ox to freak out. Finally got a bit of cracker and cake down him. Oh and the gauze around his head was removed leaving a yellow cloth over his stitches which we have been trying to a kind of stocking hat on much to his dislike. Tho he has been cuddly with his nurse.. . The little ham.
To this Old Cat, that sounds pretty encouraging.

I meant to thank all the Prayer Warriors, who have come through for Keegan yet again. I’m sure his family, including his Grandma, Ladyiris58 (that little girl down the street mentioned in the original thread creating post), appreciate it.
Sounds encouraging to me, too. The first days after surgery are so tough, especially when the patient is a little one. Docs know step by step how he’ll recover, so if they say he can go home tomorrow, there will be that dramatic improvement in his recovery.
Probably the effects of the anesthesia; praying for him to recover quickly.
Prayers ongoing for the adorable, charming Keegan. And maybe a little chicken soup would help?
Couldn't hoit. :)
. . The little ham. Later today he was eating and drinking. Not sure if we are going home Tuesday or Wednesday.
Expanding on that is, Ladyiris58, Keegan's paternal Grandma.
What the drs are waiting on with Keegan is the swelling to go down more , off of his iv's, drinking and eating enough and drainage to stop from his incision.

Yesterday was a much better. Lost everything besides one iv, used only for iv meds that are ran over a half hour. With his new found freedom and vision returned the confinement of a crib was not enough no matter the toy. In his usual flirty boy manner he charmed his way into nurses arms .. the little stinker. His eating and drinking are almost up to par. With fingers crossed and wood knocked there is a decent chance of going home today. Just need the doctor that messes with his screws to sign off on it.
