You are correct. While very hard working Orientals look upon every government program as an opportunity to increase wealth. Well off Chinese in San Francisco diligently work to ‘reunite’ families by bringing parents and grand parents and uncles and aunts to the US. Once here these folks are identified as ‘destitute’ and sign up for general relief and Medicaid. If they have any health problems or can plausibly claim one they begin the process for SSI. As with the Hispanics the US is not seen as a land of opportunity as it once was presented to immigrants but a land of opportunities to get government money. That along with the rotten public education system that teaches the inmates to (a) despise the cruel racist bullying USA and (b) to look upon the state as the source of economic salvation is the big psychological difference in the current immigrant experience and the classic one. New arrivals are taught to look on the US as a source of loot that one has no real allegiance too. That is just one of the many things the libs and the Rats have done to our country.
