This is truly creepy.
Remember that Twilight Zone episode, about the store mannequin who comes to life for a day? I think it was Anne Francis in the lead (maybe?).

As a teen my buddies and I would grab cigarette butts out of the ashtrays at the mall ( yes smoking in the mall in designated areas) and put them between the mannequins fingers at the JC Pennys
oh the cheap laughs we would get.
