In 1977 my State Rep wrote me back concerning issues I had in getting promoted in a State agency and bumping into union obstacles.

He told me that it's a mistake for government employees to have Civil Service and Union protections together.

My rep then was Barney Frank.

I would add that it’s a mistake to have public sector unions, they should be axed.
