Which normal candidate and how? Go ahead, show how stupid you really are.

Hell, none of them could even get 20% of the GOP electorate to back them, none of them could have fund raised like Romney, none of them could have put together a national campaign. Each one of them could have been Alinskyized far easier than Romney. They were all weak, every one of them.

Go ahead, explain how any of them could have won.

Wild post my ass, you're just ignorant and naive.

And you still never dealt with what I said.

Typical of someone so unintelligent, don't address the obvious.

You really need to end this nasty personal attack stuff, Romney isn’t a God, he is a failed liberal politician.

Not every one has the deep feelings for him that you do, a conservative speaking unfavorably about the man should not stir up such passions within you.

Romney has a 20 year history of running for office, he sucks at it.

Romney isn’t a God, he is a failed liberal politician.

In the eyes of his shriller, more spittle-fueled adherents and apologists hereabouts, Mittens is much like a cow wandering placidly through the streets of downtown Cairo: immune to any/all criticism and/or impediment by divine principle, if not an object of abject veneration outright.

The cow is holy. The cow is perfect. If the cow, for whatever reason(s) -- by whatever unguessable confluence of events, in the course of its dull, plodding amblings -- doesn't end up wherever the hell it was it wanted to go to in the first place: that's wholly and unalterably your fault, not the cow's.

The CINOs neither can nor will admit -- now or EVER -- that their rote, repeatedly failed p!ss-on-the-base-and-grovel-for-disaffected-liberals campaign strategy is what's genuinely at fault, for the second presidential election in a row.

The cow is holy.

The cow is perfect.

I never said Romney was a God, never implied it, don't even think he was all that great. Yet, you pretend that's the issue rather than addressing what I said (yep, you didn't address it again).

You are nothing but a stupid, Axelrod conservative who worked to get Bambi reelected by being a whiny, smarmy purist.

You didn't even vote for the one man who could have gotten rid of this stain.

GFY. And don't comment back, you're simply a despicable idiot who should have no standing in any conservative community. Any time you post on a thread I'm on, I'll let everyone know what a despicable worm you are.

Respond to what? Raving and gibberish?

Post 101 was a thoughtful, and an accurate post, but you leaped at my throat with some wild, insane, foul, raving gibberish in post 119.

You are so right, the slavish devotion to the whack case from Mass. is insane.

Who would have guessed that when the anti-Reagan surfaced, that a large portion of the GOP would prostate themselves at his feet, and purr and coo, even after he led them to slaughter.

I genuinely, honestly allowed myself to be gulled into believing -- after the humiliating (and wholly avoidable) electoral @ss-thumping of 2008, re: their failed, suicidal McCain Gambit -- that even the dimmest, most politically clueless GOP-e or CINO would be able to learn from brute experience, if nothing else, and avoid pursuing the exact same loser strategy all over again, four scant years later.

I mean: even the lowly Planarian worm can be taught how to successfully negotiate a simple maze, after all. ;)

“And why did I support Gingrinch?

He was the best combination of ability, accomplishment, persuasive ability, and issues in the field. Far from perfect, but he has accomplished a whole lot more for what we believe in than Rick ever will.

Yes,Rick takes the slings and arrows, because he’s never effective. And Rick has sold more conservatism down the river in his short life than Newt ever did, altho I am fully aware of some of newt’s spectacularly bad moments.”
__________________________________________________________

EXACTLY, Mr Wright-

Reagan and Newt the ONLY effective true CONSERVATIVES in decades- ONLY these two Republicans actually reduced the size of government in any sort of meaningful way

And Gingrich wouldn’t have let Obama walk away from so many issues like Mittens did, he’d have nailed him to the wall in all three debates, not just one.

And Santorum was a weak candidate on a fools crusade with an expansive view of the powers and priorities of government. That was my point, that it was a weak field of candidates. Sorry if that offended you so much you felt the need to lie about my position.

I know SNL and NBC are the enemy’s propaganda, but last night I watched the start of last Saturday night’s show, and it had some funny moments. It was Romney, after his loss, out on the balcony of his home saying things like “Gosh darn it all to heck” and sneaking shots of... Milk, from a carton. His family members try to get him to come in to the party, but he says he needs the time alone. Then Karl rove comes out. They did a great job recreating that egg shaped face. He says, “mitt, I think you can still win Ohio” and mitt, who has been sugary kind to everyone so far, grabs him and throws him off the balcony. I laughed out loud.

But Carville was correct on election night. Before any state was closed, he was commenting on the race and said something like “ well ah reckon Ol Romney gon havtawin each state tonight wile Obama only got ta show up.”

I couldn’t stand that arrogant attitude! But at the end of that night he was damn right. Gotta give him credit. :(

She made her decision is early October, well before the first primaries.

Right up till about May, you couldn't walk down the FR avenue without tripping over someone with a "Draft Palin!!" sign.

That's the kind of delusion I am talking about.

following up....As I have said here many times, I like Sarah Palin a lot. She has a great personal story and she and I are in agreement on nearly all the issues. I would vote for her with confidence if she were the nominee.

But she's still a politician after all, and the idea that she is in some way uniquely positioned to be the only person who can save America.....that's just malarkey, as Joe B. would say.

And I’m sorry I bothered to talk to someone who hates conservatives more than Obama.

Wow, you just cannot help yourself but to be a lying twit, can you?

Pointing out that making birth control an issue isn't going to even win Catholics, let alone most conservatives, let alone the general election - doesn't mean I hate conservatives more than 0bama.

What it does mean is that I don't find such nanny state garbage conservative, and it makes Santorum a weak candidate who couldn't even win reelection in his home State.

I guess you do the best you can with dealing without ever anger issues you have, but man, it sure gets tiresome reading nothing but irrational, personal ragings from you, at some point you need to try and steer yourself towards the politics of freerepublic and of the posts, and thread topics, rather than seeing it as a place for you to release intense personal feelings and rage.
