Totally agree. I'm a Libertarian, but I also believe in compromise. There is no such thing as a "pure" candidate.

The democrats have one basic ideology that they and their brainwashed constituents adhere too. That is exactly why republicans keep getting smashed in elections. There are too many factions waiting for their ideal candidate.

Right. And even if there were a “pure” candidate who held exactly the same principles as a given voter, it wouldn’t be practically feasible for that candidate to govern politically in strict categorical adherence to those principles. Compromise is necessary in attempting to adequately represent the diverse demands of many different people simultaneously—though compromise doesn’t necessarily imply becoming more like a Liberal Democrat as some mistakenly believe; those who fear that compromise = liberalism, aren’t thinking creatively enough about how to methodologically implement Conservative-minded solutions to address common problems.
