My good friend Alan Vera of True the Vote told me long ago that we have a two party system.  The Corrupt Party and the Stupid Party.  To that fact, during the weekly True the Vote webcast, Catherine Engelbrecht related a meeting she had with RNC Chairman Reince Priebus, asking what the GOP would do about voter integrity.  The answer?

Nothing.  They aren’t legally able to.  (I’m not joking.)

North Carolina is becoming a third world country with regard to voting...the only reason Obama won in 08 and only reason he was close this year.

The GOP increased their power in both state bodies and won the State House, along with a key Supreme Court seat. I think that will allow the GOP to clean this up now, and NC will never go liberal again.

If they don’t, we’re a shaky red state at best.

That’s a good question. In NC, we needed a few more elected officials in place, and I think we got them in 2012.

So why after the 2010 GOP landslide victories don’t the GOP Gov’s and attorneys general put laws into place to correct these frauds????
What good are they if they don’t protect the electorate? I don’t ant them there just a figure heads! ACT like DEMS and DO SOMETHING!!!!!
Good heaven I am so angry!

I feel it is misplaced affluent White guilt that prevents the GOP from taking a stand against Democrats that accuse them of being racist and insensitive to diverse viewpoints or ascribe Republicans with morally equivalent duplicity.

The real fraud and the place to stop it is in the registration process.

Once they are on the voter rolls it is nearly impossible to stop it or even detect it. At that point ID, photo or otherwise, doesn’t matter because everything will match and there will be no challenge.

The Dems know this, which is why they and their surrogates like the SEIU, ACORN, La Raza, etc., put massive effort in registering illegals, college students in their school states, felons, snowbirds with homes in multiple states.

Nobody checks up on the registration forms and in most states you can register by mail or online or even on Election Day. Then if you are registered, you just have to show up on Election Day.

Never mind that; do it anyway.

One more reason the GOP needs to go out of business. (So do the Democrats, but that’s another issue.)

“This is an issue of the states and where the fight needs to be taken to.”

And then a federal judge pronounces the solution as illegal. This attitude is way the GOP continues to fail.

As long as people continue to believe these parties actually oppose each other we remain oblivious to what they actually cooperate on. These two organizations are accomplices and work together against all Americans. They work in ‘opposition’ like the two halves of a pair of shears, cutting away a little more liberty and a little more prosperity every decade.
