According to your scenario, Petraeus 1st did Obama a favor by taking over for McCrystal, and the Obama did Patraeus a favor by not revealing the affair. SO they’re even. Why should Patraeus then do Obama another favor by retelling the video story in Benghazi story?

My feeling is that Patraeus went with the video story in order to try to keep cover on a covert operation in Benghazi. Broadwell referenced a CIA detention center at the annex in a speech she gave in Oct. at DU.
