My take on Petraeus:
Petraeus knows the treasonous truths on Benghazi. Petraeus clearly is highly respected and will be the star witness and everyone knows he logically has to testify at the upcoming House hearings. If he does not, it is proof positive the Republicans are also traitors. Petraeus will tell the truth under oath. Jarrett naturally resorted to blackmailing Petraeus into lying. Jarrett confronts Petraeus with the affair and says she wants cooperation or else - she will destroy him. Normally, Jarrett would not give a damn about an extra-marital affair. Petraeus calls her hand and beats her to the punch. In doing so, he has learned a very hard lesson that inevitably the devil will get his due when you foolishly sign on with him. Now, however the tables are turned and Jarrett is screwed except for one last hand (see below). Petaeus is now free to testify and he will quietly through the backdoor ask the committees to serve him with a subpoena so he has the cover he needs to lay it all out on the table. I sure hope Petaeus knows he has now locked horns with the devil and has hired personal, highly trusted bodyguards and is in a safe house. Jarrett’s final hand is to see that Petraeus meets a premature demise and the story will be that he became extremely despondent and committed suicide.

I also guarantee you he has a dossier on the incident which is safely in the hands of the GOP or in someone unknown who will deliver it. Valerie and Obozo are like two turds in a toilet and Petraeus is going to flush.

This the weak point in your argument. Why worry about telling the truth now, when you already lied on Sep 14th when you told congress it was the video?
Where was his honor then? What can we believe from him now?
I hope you are right, but I have my doubts.
