There is not a hope in hell that the Senate would produce even a majority for conviction, much less 2/3.

That all depends on what is discovered in the House. The fact that the Senate is under Dem control, will actually help the impeachment process get started. Dems will know that the only way Obama could be removed would be if half the Dem senators wanted him removed. And they might depending on what is discovered in the House. The next US Senate elections have more Dems then Pubs up for reelection.

I will NEVER understand some people. We just lost an election, but they cling to the notion that impeachment will save us, when it’s about 5x harder than winning the election.
