...right now the US is a left to center-left country and they flat have more voters who believe in their message of free stuff.

That doesn't jive with the annual Gallup poll which consistently over at least a decade has roughly 40% of the population describing themselves as "conservative," 20% liberal, and the rest "moderate" or unwilling to say. I'd say that's a pretty good base for conservatives to build on.

If there is a conspiracy answer, then there is never a need to confront the real problems...

Yes, there are "real problems." But if there is massive fraud that determined the election outcome, there's no shame in discussing it. We can walk and chew gum at the same time, can't we?

Citing these kinds of polls is what got us here. It's like all the polls that say blacks oppose homosexuality or that Jews support Israel--- but these sentiments or issues are never reflected in votes.

This is more of failing to confront the problem. This is a left country, and if it wasn't, appeals to class warfare and contraception would go nowhere. It's time to start separating expressed poll positions for votes. NO "conservative" country would elect Obama one, let alone twice, or consistently kick out pro-lifers or other conservatives---no matter how flawed they are (think Jim Talent, Mike DeWine, Josh Mandel, Connie Mack, and on and on.)
