Yeah, you don’t really have a clue about how things work, the more social liberalism there is, the larger and more intrusive, and expensive government becomes.

We have watched that for 60 years in our nation, social liberalism turned us into a tacky welfare state, with the people dependent, submissive, and living in socialism and our national community and commonality destroyed.

Reality is the opposite of your childish, fantasy.

I never claimed that social liberalism was viable either.

Social engineering—be it from the Right or the Left—is not desirable and yields cascades of unintended consequences. Some cultures are obviously better than others insofar as producing better societies, though culture is an emergent phenomenon that largely evolves under its own recourse. Meaning that nobody is going to successfully legislate an entire society of people from the top-down into upholding the morals they believe others should normatively uphold. This promotes antipathy and divisiveness, especially the more overt and absolute the decrees.
