Losing is losing. There is no such thing as “losing worse” than Romney. He didn’t get a consolation prize for getting close.

The moderates have had two tries in a row, and lost both times. Nobody, Palin, included, can do any worse than that. They might possibly do better, but we can’t know that unless we try something different than the same tired old moderate porridge.

Absolutely agree. The crowds at the end of the Romney campaign were pent up conservatives trying to vent. Can you imagine running a true conservative next time? Watch Madison and Indianola on youtube. . and the 08 acceptance speech. Palin unleashed as the candidate. . . watch out.

Yes. You get it. I agree.

Palin or Gingrich could have lost also. Maybe even by 40 - 60.

But they would have moved us forward. They would have laid out the differences between the sides and laid out the differences in philosophy between the left and the right.
