I love Sarah Palin, love her passion and beliefs but she is WAAAAY too much of a distraction for our message. She would be eaten alive by the liberal media who would focus on little things. No more novelty candidates like Palin, Paul, Bachmann, Cain, etc. They all get presented as wack jobs and in some cases are.
No more RINOS or sacrificial lambs either like Dole, or McCain.
We need a candidate who has that once in a generational charisma that OWNS and sell the message so dynamically there IS no distraction possible! Reagan had it. We need to identify our future soon!
Palin has it. As described by The Anchorage paper writer, "She is a political savant." Her rallies in Madison and Indianola. . She can do this.
It doesn’t matter who we choose. The left will give,them all the Palin treatment.
So your approach is the let the leftist media determine who should run.

2012 Romney as candidate was exactly what you advocate and he lost.
Any of the “novelty” candidates could have lost too.
I’d say about Palin that if she can do what she and the Tea Party did in 2010 in 2014 — ie gain more seats in the house and Senate — then she is viable.
And you tell me what rep candidate would not get this treatment? Not a single EFFFFIN one of them! So what is the EFFFIN difference? Look what they did to RINO Romney! And you are worried about a real conservative woman?
Until such time as we have a truly honest election process it will not matter who runs.
