Interesting analogy. Yes, Romney took a knee on Benghazi, Ryan took a knee on what economy Obama “inherited,” and Romney took a knee on bin Laden.

All told by consultants that they must do so not to “upset” the precious moderates. Thus, truth died on each issue. In fact, the entire spirit of the Age is the Death of Truth. Axelrod is the living embodiment of the opposite of the truth.

This is what I put out early this AM after waking up in a funk. (Had a root canal today....seriously...:>)

I think it ties into "the truth died" although its focus is timidity.

I do believe our smart guys and pollsters were playing soothsayer to the populace for the republican party. What good are they if they aren't annoyingly truthful? If the enemy is approaching from the south, I don't want my intel guys telling me the enemy is a hundred miles off. Making me feel good doesn't help me at all. It robs me of the ability to at least try to react.
