If you personally know voters who are still undecided (like I do) then perhaps you may want to send them the link to this article. After all, it addresses the concerns we all feel (but without the negative emotions) it addresses the overall problem, and it makes the reader think about what faces us as a country should we continue down the same path we have been in the last 4 years, or if we should take a different one. It's getting down the wire, and we need all the support we can get.

It was time to start following politics a long time ago. What I found out was that the only people who don’t want to discuss politics, citing the ‘inappropriateness’ of it, are Obama’s people. Whether at a local sports bar or family gathering (the former moreso than the latter), only fellow conservatives and Republicans seem to understand that political discussion hasn’t been so appropriate and relevant in a long, long time. Good old fashioned comparing of notes, opinions and visions for the future are bothersome to those who would disagree with those opinions.

My guess is that they’d rather not participate in or even overhear discussions about current events because if they do get drawn in, they run the risk of revealing their own preferences and possibly their lack of political astuteness.

For those who would carry on in these situations, be prepared to be shut down by unseen forces working in the background to have this kind of freedom of speech curtailed and possibly banned from the premises by asking you to leave.

The closer we have come to this Republican win, the more certain birds seem to flocking together but don’t let that stop you.

With all that is at stake here, it can’t be inappropriate to share your thoughts on the matter in public while enjoying an adult beverage with your fellow Americans no matter who is within earshot as long as you’re not openly intimidating others. However, since we live in an imperfect world, some people will take what is being said as a personal attack on their self-esteem or “privacy” even when in a public setting.

When the American Revolution was at hand, such talk in such places was the norm but today it’s as though the patriots are the outsiders while ‘loyalists’ pretend to represent the status quo, which WE all know is far from the truth.

So go ahead and shoot your shot, wave that flag, give your two cents and let the chips fall where they may because in the end...WE win.
