Letterman is typical of Obama's celebrity supporters. They lack the intelligence to understand Obama is the biggest nothing to occupy the White House in decades. Possibly the biggest nothing since the 19th century.
Letterman says he’s got no dog in this fight. Why can’t we just take him at his word?
Actually, I agree with Dave on this one.
I find “idiot” to be an apt description of anyone who can either sit at home on their undecided fannies or, worse yet, vote for Barry0.
Naw..
Letterman is right on this one.
People who are undecided at this point are IDIOTS.
Letterman fans are also idiots. Maybe they could
get together with the undecided idiots and form
an “occupy” movement or something.
Not mutually exclusive. Letterman is an idiot and undecideds are idiots. As it happens they are both attention whores as well.
CARTER?
The undecided are women who are torn between their love for abortion and their hope for a better economy.
Author thinks Ford was worse than Carter? Carter’s mistakes are still causing us problems in the Middle East and elsewhere. Obama represents a continuation of Jimmy Carter’s failed policies domestically and internationally.
They will decide and I don't think Obama will be happy.
Well, not so fast!
I would classify undecided voters into two catagories:
1) Those that are too busy in real life to pay attention to politics and have not yet taken the time to become attuned to the political carp flying around - ie. have not really made up their mind due to insufficient information.
2) Those that have been exposed to the political landscape for months and can’t seem to decide. I call these people idiots! It has nothing to do with undecided - they simply have no ability to absorb the information coming their way and make a logical decision.
So, Dave is half-right and since he has been exposed to the candidates, he belongs to group number 2, and that makes him an idiot.
Does anyone read the Lawrence Urinal World?
I thought I was the only FReeper who ever posted articles from the the lost in the 70’s bastion of the revolution.
Thankfully, it’s been well contained ever since they burnt down the Student Union by sensible surrounding counties.
As a Missouri native (current Kansas resident) I have entertained notions that another sacking might be therapeutic.
Lawrence Journal World? Lawrence, KS? Home of KU? Little Moscow? Pretty funny a writer in KU town would criticise Creepy Dave, whose audience is mainly stoned college kids.
Letterman has been complaining publicly that Romney won't come on his show. For good reason, because once a President, or Presidential candidate, appears he becomes hostage to the show host, in Letterman's case, a supreme a--hole of a host.
But when Romney wins, I think he should reverse the power situation, and invite Letterman to meet with him at the White House, with the power on Romney's side. Let's see if Letterman has the balls to let a powerful politician have the upper hand.
Undecideds don’t care and don’t vote (although others might vote for them).
