As the presidential campaign grinds to an end, Americans are gaining a better understanding of Barack Obama. He was challenged by Mitt Romney in the presidential debates and became clearly rattled. As a result, the race that was his to lose is now too close to call, with a slight edge to the challenger.

To avoid losing to a candidate who, is a good debater, but a poor campaigner, the President is pulling out all the stops in his desperate quest to hold on to power. Of course, Barack Obama does not want to give up the tremendous perks associated with his office and the vast power he wields. Mostly, the man who likes to be adored does not want to suffer the indignity of losing.

From the article:

"It is a depressing campaign for a depressing period in our country’s history. The American people deserve better than this type of treatment and should demand better behavior from their President.

On November 6, they will have an opportunity to make that demand a reality."

Couldn't have said it better.

Yeah, well, I disagree. They have to prove they deserve better. And so far they have done a damn poor job of proving it.

IMHO, for the most part, the American people have been getting the government they deserve. Which is very sad for the minority of us that aren't selfish morons.

Half the people are Democrats. Democrats are Democrats first and Americans second. Party before country. And until such time as a sizable majority of people put being American first, they deserve the screw job they are getting.
