A much younger, liberal colleague went off to law school a couple of years ago in a blue state. We've had a couple a conversation since, including an extended discussion about global warming (needless to say, despite 16 years of steady temperatures, he's still a big believer).

One day, on his Facebook wall, he linked to an article advocating free abortions, and then made a broader statement supporting women's rights.

A couple of hot chicks (judging by their profile photos) then made fawning remarks in response. Perhaps my friend will start wearing a badge, "I support free abortion." Who knew it could be a pickup line?
