I always wondered how Van Jones got through an FBI check (always wondered how Bill Ayers is not on do not fly list as well) I think the answer is obvious, Obama was never given any binders.

I caught a few minutes of Rush today and he mentioned binders in a way that I knew I had missed something. What did Obama say concerning binders that has resulted in their sudden exposure in the news?

In a normal situation Jones would not be appointed to anything. However the President heads the executive branch, the FBI is an agency in the executive branch in the Department of Justice (therefore under Holder!). So whatever the President wants the President gets!

Rhetorical question: So if you are actually interested in national security, then its kind of important who gets elected to be President

I don’t think Obama mentioned binders, but Biden did today. The left-wing blogosphere and twitterverse have been riffing on Romney’s mention of “binders full of women” non-stop. It’s completely absurd.

More to the point, how did Obama — given his history or lack of it — ever get past the FBI security check? This is the man given a higher than Top Secret clearance. He is at the top of the security pyramid.
