How do I activate the hyperlinks in the preceding post so that readers can simply point and click on them?

You just need to know a little bit of HTML....

Put an < a href= > before each link without the spaces before the < and > than put your text for the link followed by a < /a >. You'd have to do this for every link but you can copy and paste everything so it's not as daunting as it sounds. Hope that helps a little.
