well thank you...that is very kind
i am going to put you in my file of freepers never to fight with even if i disagree
i actually have one...and try to use it...12 years I try to keep up
i remember once I argued with a lady here and she was quick to remind me she had prayed for me when i had open heart surgery
even though I still thought she was wrong...i felt like a heel
woman from Oklahoma..longtime poster till she challenged in a not nice way Mr Thompson about his freepathons openly one night late
and away she went riding the bolt
but I did feel bad arguing with her if she had indeed prayed for me
this forum can be brutal..and for timid folks it’s best to just dance the edges...takes a real special breed like say humblegunner to jump in with sabers drawn 24-7
or pissant (zotted)
I am aonly at my worst if someone is mean about where I come from...I will cop to that...no question
since you fly Colorado flag that is never an issue is it?
everyone wants to be there...and loves the state...it’s like the diamond of the nation beauty wise...and rightfully so
many many years ago I did the college peaks..skied Summit county and Vail repeatedly in the 70s
and believe it or not..am having my morning coffee in my favorite cup from last summer...from the Jean Pierre Bakery on Main in Durango...my wife loves Durango.
anyhow...God bless you dear...that was a very nice compliment and I am grateful for it...appears to me Beaver could do a lot worse
Oh you’re welcome. The truth though...the best kind of kind. :) As Dennis Miller is fond of saying, “I like the cut of your jib.” And you don’t have to worry about arguing with me. I avoid fights. Conflict is not my thing, but I appreciate those FReepers, like you, that don’t shy away from getting into the mix. It’s what makes life interesting and there are new perspectives to be considered and learned. You had some back and forths with a FReeper (not going to mention name) in the Far East not too long ago. That was some great reading, my friend. That kind of unapologetic passion is refreshing. And yes, lovely Colorado. Not too much controversy here. Love the Four Corners area and our whole beautiful state. The only place that competes for my affections is Southeastern Utah. God bless you too WD. Your post made my day. :)
