Kid Rock, Sean Penn team up for video addressing political rhetoric

Kid Rock and Sean Penn teamed up this week to make a short movie tackling the rhetoric and stereotypes that can accompany political differences.

Rock, who is a Mitt Romney supporter and recently spoke at a Paul Ryan rally, joined Penn, a supporter of President Obama and vocal political activist, in what Rock called in a tweet "a public service film."

The mini-movie, titled "Americans," is co-written by Penn and Rock. It shows the two men meeting in a bar and clashing over their politically opposite opinions.

"The goal of the film is to tear down the one-dimensional political stereotypes portrayed by the media by confronting them head on," reads the description on the video's YouTube page. "It reminds us that what really matters is that we're all Americans, with diverse thoughts, opinions and stances on issues. We are millions of unique, individual parts, the sum of which comprise a whole that is the shining beacon of freedom throughout the world."

Penn first appears in the video, asking that a TV over the bar be changed from a Romney rally that he calls "a bit neanderthal."

When the channel is changed to a clip of Obama on the Ellen DeGeneres show, Rock approaches, and refers to the president as "your boy here, O-bummer."

The "Born Free" singer and Oscar-winning actor then exchange heated insults based on their respective stereotypes: Rock's as a red-neck and Penn's as a tree hugger...

Pure crap as expected. As always its the conservative that has to reach out and change. Drinking a beer and wearing a nascar shirt? Is that what conservatism is about? Is that what we are working hard to get libs to accept?

BTW-Love how Penn still thinks Palin said she could see Russia from her house. Earlier in vid he talked about Goebbels line about repeating a lie enough. Palin was attacked for having no foreign policy experience and pointed out how Alaska was bordered by Canada on one side and Russia very close to the other. So close that one could actually see Russia from some parts of Alaska. SNL turned that observation into a dumb blonde moment of “Duh, I can see Russia from my house”. A lie many people actually believe.

We cower as you point your fingers telling us to support our troops while you and the smarmy pundits in your pocket, those who bathe in the moisture of your soiled and blood-soaked underwear, can take that noise and shove it.

Don't know why I thought anything by those two would actually be good. I did like the Jamaican chick, though!
