Follow me on this, please. I've actually thought there were two winners at the debate: Mitt Romney, and Hillary Clinton. Mitt, for the obvious reasons, and Hillary, because I've believed ever since 2008 that she was going to run again in 2016. If Obama wins, IMHO, what he will do to the country the next four years will make it impossible for any Democrat to win the WH. So, an Obama loss is a very good thing for the Clintons.
The crooked Illinois mafia won’t be happy... look for little Dickie Durbin to run in 2016... The Dems really have no one... Cuomo is likely, I agree, but once Mitt wins we need to look at 2020 with Ryan/West ...
Sherrod Brown, Senator from Ohio IF he survives a stiff challenge from Josh Mandel.
Jesse, Jr. He’ll be all cleaned up out of mayo by then!
I think we well see Obama run again if he loses, and he will make all kinds of trouble from his private former president briefings for the next four years, giving up lots of information to the Muslim Brotherhood.
He will try to torpedo everything about Romney’s term in office in foreign policy.
I hope we have a Republican House and Senate working together because it will take a lot to undo everything he did - even down to purging his cronies in office by appointment. I hope Romney has a list of everyone Obama appointed, and a replacement for each and every one whose positions are not eliminated (like all the czars).
Villagarosa has all but run LA into the ground, and bankruptcy. God help California if he’s elected governor..OTOH..maybe it’s time to put Cal out of its misery..force the issue..let it implode...before it can be fixed..
Obama was a blank slate..at least that’s how the MSM sold him to the voters...and many were enthralled at the idea of electing the first black president..it was a national kumbayah moment...it won’t happen again..
Dude, after 8 years of close proximity to the Clintons...they’e always on my mind...
About 70% of the population is more qualified to run than Hillary. If they could find Obama, the real question is who isn’t qualified to be President.
Yup!
You Win!
Barney Fa...sorry,Frank.He’s tanned,he’s rested,he’s...well,never mind.
Dick Armey bump!!!
By 2028, after 8 years of Romney and 8 years of Ryan - half the country won’t even remember who Hitlery - or peelface of grungey were.
You are absolutely right about Villagarosa, but it doesn’t matter a whit how he’s performed. No Republican is going to be elected governor in CA until it’s on its knees and maybe not even then. Look at what France has done in similar circumstances.
We’re both right..which is why I want Villagarose to win the state house..he’ll bankrupt Cal faster than anyone else..
If Hillary doesn't run in 2016, Chelsea will be old enough to run instead. Being (legally) the daughter of Bill Clinton should more than compensate for lack of any policial excperience.
And the Kennedys will never run out of potential candidates...if Teddy could run for President after killing Mary Jo, RFK Jr. could run despite driving his soon-to-be ex-wife to suicide.
I would hope more so than this time around...
I keep thinking that the slain ambassador was reported to have been gay, and wonder if that is why Obama sent him there, knowing he wouldn’t last long...wonder if it was to get rid of a witness? or a former partner?
Sandra Fluke?
I agree. Although this is a fascinating topic, it only appeals to "a minority of a minority of a minority." (Hat tip to another FReeper)
I'll focus on the 2014 mid-terms, AT THE APPROPRIATE TIME, but after following politics since 1952, I'm tired.
It was an interesting read, though.
