As dawn broke over the Atlantic on October 12, 1492, a perilous 10-week journey across an ocean gave way to encounters and events that would dramatically shape the course of history. Today, we recall the courage and the innovative spirit that carried Christopher Columbus and his crew from a Spanish port to North America, and we celebrate our heritage as a people born of many histories and traditions.
When the explorers laid anchor in the Bahamas, they met indigenous peoples who had inhabited the Western hemisphere for millennia. As we reflect on the tragic burdens tribal communities bore in the years that followed, let us commemorate the many contributions they have made to the American experience, and let us continue to strengthen the ties that bind us today.

There’s nothing you can say to people who want to be deceived.
If the deceived opened their eyes to the evil that is Obama, they’d be forced to deal with it. “Better” to keep things down to a childlike simplicity into order to avoid having to react in a responsible, adult manner. Besides, their entire wordview would likely implode.
Reflecting back, perhaps you might discover that she had a long habit of keeping her head in the sand, but the issues were relatively minor and unimportant and hence easy to dismiss.
Obama’s behavior, attitude, and worldview are so heinous and anti-American, however, that his actions cannot be brushed aside by those who see him for what he is. Thus we are in a situation where friends, family, and coworkers can no longer simply agree to disagree. Obama has divided the country by slashing a sword right through the very foundation and heart of the nation: the family.
Obama is forcing everyone to choose sides. Fence-straddling, tolerance, or even polite silence in name of unity and harmony is no longer an option.
America is not just being roughed up and mugged for her purse. She is being gang raped and left for dead by Obama and his party and all the rabble he can rouse. The only people who could possibly ignore the abomination are the people who either hate or have no feeling or protective instinct toward the woman, because America - the freewoman - is not their mother.
