So, would you like to enlighten the rest of us how wheat in the diet does not contribute, in many people, to chronic hyper-insulinity, high LDL cholesterol, type 2 diabetes and heart disease?
I’m in the middle of Dr. Davis’s book. While it’s an interesting read, it’s a pity that he hasn’t compared his experiences with the scientific literature about gliadens (gluten) and the auto-immune system.
If anyone wants some scientific confirmation of the harmful effects of gluten on the immune system (not for everybody, obviously, but for many people), check out “Why do I still have Thyroid Symptoms If my Labs are Normal,” by Datis Kharrazian, D.C. (It’s a book, available on Amazon).
