Thanks, Humblegunner. I appreciate, as always, your delightful comment complaining, again, about my postings here (in their entirety) of articles from my blog instead of posting excerpts of articles from other blogs.

Perhaps I do it because I am not great enough to act as humbly as you consider appropriate.

Perhaps it's because after the ten or more hours I spend (between our daily internet and electrical outages and thunderstorms here) each day researching, generally trying to keep informed and writing I do not have enough time to do more than to read articles posted by others and to comment on them.

Or perhaps it's because I am simply a jerk.

Whatever pleases you and helps to enhance your self-image is fine with me; if it's not too much trouble for you, even your occasional substantively derogatory comments would be welcome.
