Perhaps if others here would have followed your example - perhaps at one time we might have reconsidered.
But the insults, derision, bullying, name calling, intimidation and threats from the rabid Romney supporters have negated that possibility.
They have reinforced the understanding that there is not much difference between the rabid cabal for Obama or the cabal for Romney - both hold those of principle and faith with contempt.
Romney and the Ruling Class demonstrated their contempt for Conservatives on Tuesday at the RNC. I'm not going to reward such contempt or betray my faith and principles by casting a vote for their standard bearer.
I have not, nor will I make any insults to like conservatives on this forum. We should live up to our own standards of decency, and not become like DU. I have made cogent arguments as a reason to vote for Romney, and not Obama, but apparently people like you won't be convinced. Regardless.
I am not as much of a "Romney supporter" as I am convinced that Obama is the WRONG person for the job. Romney, at least, has some qualifications to be a Chief Executive for this country. He may not be the perfect conservative, but he'd be far more friendly to business, and less hostile to traditional American beliefs.
That’s unfortunate. I haven’t followed these threads that much during the primaries I was aware it was very heated and too much name calling, insults as you said. We’re not the DUmp so we should know better. Having said all that, still have 45 days to consider what is best for this country. Hopefully in this analysis, you may come to some realization that perhaps Romney is the best we can do to save us from Obama now or perhaps not. And with solid conservatives in the house and senate, we can keep Mitt on a short leash - that is my optimistic hope. Every vote does count.
