Please tell me, INVAR, how do you see a return to getting a qualified candidate? Through what means do we please someone like you, enough to vote for a candidate? Where do we find and nominate someone perfect enough to capture not only votes from someone like you, but also a candidate who can capture the vote of someone more centrist in their approach to politics? Don't forget, there are some "purple" states out there whose votes are required for 270 EV's.

What is the scenario to getting a candidate of whom you would approve? Is it even possible? Would any of the other Republican candidates fit the bill? Ron Paul? Herman Cain? Newt Gingrich?

Maybe you don't really buy into the two-party thing...maybe you'd prefer a third-party candidate? If that's true, you'd have a better chance moving to some banana republic in Central America.

Keep to your faith and principles, but if a bloody revolution is the only way to get your ideal government, man up and say it directly. If you're not up to that task, and still hold out that you can get the right candidate through the voting process, you might as well wait until you win the Power Ball. The Party process has its way of nominating national candidates, and that's not changing any time soon.

Until this nation does a II Chronicles 7:14 en masse - we will suffer the same as we have now and worse. Electing someone to high office does NOT in any way, solve the root cause of the reasons we suffer someone like Obama.

Might want to bone up on the Great Awakenings - for those were required before we were a people worthy enough to accomplish the task of ensuring liberty.

Through what means do we please someone like you, enough to vote for a candidate?

I would have voted for any of the candidates that ran in the primary except for Romney and Ron Paul. Had the primary not been over by the time it got to my state - I would have voted for anyone running except those two.

Where do we find and nominate someone perfect enough to capture not only votes from someone like you, but also a candidate who can capture the vote of someone more centrist in their approach to politics?

I had this argument back in 2000, 2004, 2008. The GOP keeps sliding Left to accommodate the Left. I refuse to compromise my faith or principles any longer. I repented of such after 2008. Since Obama and Romney reflect the Left and that seems to be a majority of the people in the country nowadays - we get the king they demand we be ruled by. I'll not take part in choosing one of those.

Don't forget, there are some "purple" states out there whose votes are required for 270 EV's.process, you might as well wait until you win the Power Ball.

Exactly. Enjoy the march to MarxoFascism. Unless this people repent and God intervenes, our fate seems to be certain. However, I'm no longer going to hand them the rope they are hanging us by.

Maybe you don't really buy into the two-party thing...

Not any longer. I see little difference in them. We've gone full-tilt Soviet in our electoral process. Tuesday at the RNC sealed that fact for me. The only thing the GOP did not do, was boo God. But we already have so-called Conservatives booing those following God's Word and extolling His Words as hate, right now on threads about homosexuals in the military.

maybe you'd prefer a third-party candidate? If that's true, you'd have a better chance moving to some banana republic in Central America.

Why? We've already pretty much transformed into one under the last 3 Presidents.

Keep to your faith and principles, but if a bloody revolution is the only way to get your ideal government, man up and say it directly.

History is a great teacher. But if this people are not willing to do as prescribed above, then winning a war or an election against evil whether external or internal are impossibilities. Deuteronomy 28: 15-68 spells that out pretty clearly.

If you're not up to that task, and still hold out that you can get the right candidate through the voting process, you might as well wait until you win the Power Ball.

Right. Vote for the devil with the (R) beside his name because that is better than the devil with the (D) beside his.

It's pathetic that our standards have fallen this low that we are being lectured in such a manner. "Don't demand another Reagan Conservative - settle for the Liberal Democrat, they are better than the Marxists"

And people wonder how and why it is that America has fallen so far.

When exactly did we become a monarchy where selecting a blatantly flawed king solves all our ills? Too bad a majority see voting for a president as some kind of salvation.

Voting for a lesser of evils, is still evil. Romney's record is anathema to my faith and principles. He will not get my vote.
