While there appears to be nothing in common between the Muslim Brotherhood and the Tea Party both in their own way achieved the same objective. The Tea Party during the 2010 elections caused Obama to lose his complete control of the government. The Muslim Brotherhood in 2011 stopped Obama and Hillarys State Department from complete control of Egypts government.
At the close of 2010 it looked like Obama and Hillary had everything in place to wrest control of Egypts government from Mubarak. They had spent 50 billion to assist the activists, the training and software to evade the legal governments surveillance was complete. They had a handpicked replacement that happened to work for George Soros in Mohamed EIBaradei, who even had the catchy party name of National Association for Change. On the ground Google was paying Wael Ghonim to help push the social network revolt. Jodie Evans of Code Pink joined Bernadette Dorn and Bill Ayers. Mr. Ayers was experienced at civic disorder since he helped with the 1969 Democratic convention protests called Days of Rage.
By the ending of January the revolution had begun. The Egyptian government made the mistake of arresting Wael for eleven days which brought his profile to astronomical highs. Hillary was so excited to count her chickens she confirmed the administration gave grants to organizers and labor unions that Egyptian government was not happy about. AFL-CIOs Richard Trumkais chimed in with his solidarity with the Egyptian youth. In a nod to Ayers protest experience the new protests were called Days of Rage. (Same name as early OWS protests) Two days after the protests started handpicked EIBaradei was rushed to the scene. In perfect optics he was photographed amid tear gas and water cannons.
After two days of success, the unexpected happened. Mubarak turned off the internet. What good is untraceable software if no messages can be sent? While the State Department tried to get international pressure to turn it back on, the Muslim Brotherhood got to work. Using face to face and daily prayers the Brotherhood stole the momentum from the administration. Dont think for a minute they did not know exactly what was happening, they were in from the beginning. Now that the revolution was started and they had the training it was easy to turn the tide. Their first show of power was to ban Googles Wael Ghenim from Friday prayers in Tahrir Square.
Mubarak unable to hold on any longer stepped down on February 11th and turned power over to the military to maintain order until elections could be held. Using the techniques learned about social media they began a campaign against Ghenim and his twitter followers. By May there was a twitter account unfollowing Ghenim and his instructions to the protesters. Our handpicked replacement EIBaradei had to nominate himself for president before his dwindling followers.
With control now assured the Brotherhood proceeded to write a new constitution and electing one of their own, Mohamed Morsi. The constitution effort was halted in July of this year to allow Moris to castrate both the press and the military and quell dissent. Googles Weal fell into obscurity only to turn up in September as an honored guest at the annual IMF conference. EIBaradei hung on until January when he announced he was pulling out of the race after questions about his overseas ties arouse on the internet.
Now you know the rest of the story as the late Paul Harvey used to say. Now you know why this administration was so quick to blame our embassys storming on a trailer of a movie no one saw. Now you know why Hillary and her minions get so hot under questioning. Why the Brotherhood needed to show Obama who is in charge of Egypt. You know why Putin wants these same groups out of Russia. You know how the Tea Party and the Brotherhood both thwarted Obamas best laid plans.
If anything; I would say that the real commonality is between OWS and the Muslim Brotherhood.
I accept no comparison of the MB and the Tea Party. It is like comparing our Founding Fathers with the Nazis or the Communists under Lenin.
I accept no comparison of the MB and the Tea Party. It is like comparing our Founding Fathers with the Nazis or the Communists under Lenin.
How about commonality between Obama and the MB?
They both want to destroy America and retrict her reach in the world!
Well like it or not, it was going to happen, comparing the TP to the MB sooner or later.
NOW HEAR THIS!
The last person to leave the Libtard’s Rubber Room Must, repeat MUST! lock the door. Far too many Libtards are escaping and writing/posting.
That is all.
I am not attempting to connect the philosophy of the two. That is impossible. But both stopped Obamas plans. The Tea Party put a real monkey wrench in his plans to wreck the country, didnt stop it but screwed it up enough to need four more years. The Muslim Brotherhood went along with the planning of the destruction of Egypt and threw Obama to the curb once the action started.
OWS is the Americanized version of the Arab Spring, same players, same objectives, and same methods just little if no results.
Doesn't compute. Not analagous.
analogous
OWS and the Brotherhood are actually in cahoots, it’s well documented!
O's government is riddled with MB. I think he thought he could use them but they are more effective at using him.
I don’t have to accept it without comment. The entire article is patent nonsense.
Are you assuming that Obama’s plans for Egypt are somehow different than those being pursued by MB? I don’t. I think they are exactly who he wanted to win in the end and they are doing exactly what he wants them to do with Egypt.
You got it, it is pure nonsense, but it does not surprise me The radical left does not surprise me anymore.
That is true. Obama has been working with static Marxist-Leninist-Alinsky ideas and it is really irritating when stupid patriotic Americans get in the way.
It seems as though he has had 3 and 1/2 years of relative freedom, but now things are biting him in the backside. Poor baby.
This does not surprise me.
Muslim Brotherhood only went along as far as they needed to. Had Obama gotten his puppet in charge (Mohamed EIBaradei) there would have been no uprising at our embassy. After Obamas reelection think of the possibilities, crisis on demand, Egypt government give billions to add Obama to Mount Rushmore, Suez canal closes, Soros makes billions on market.
Thats exactly what I think happened in Egypt
Call it what you will but then you have to believe Obama trained and equipped a group of radicals in revolution 101 and sent Ayers all out of the goodness of his heart to free the Egyptian people.
