It was heterosexual.....there was a thread about it earlier. (To those that inevitably ask - no, I am not going to search for a link. Hit the "next page" button a time or two and it should come up.)
Anyway, I agree with you that it is disgusting beyond belief. A lot of people I know are disgusted with what the military has become; I know I am.
I made the AIDS argument ad naseum prior to the repeal.....one FACT they don't mention in the article - if there is a mass casualty event, they call for X blood type and you go down and roll up your sleeve. They don't have time to test it before it winds up in the patient.
According to my wife (former Army medic) there are 2 individuals (unnamed - HIPPA and all) that received HIV from transfusions in Iraq from the hospital where she worked during her tour. This was pre-repeal of DADT.
Imagine how many we don't know about.
We need to forgo the repeal, forgo DADT, and go back to a no-homo policy.
Yeah, it was heterosexual rape of several subordinate females. Setting a fine example.
Plus conduct unbecoming, alcohol use in theater, falsifying travel vouchers, I mean how does one make BG and manage to be so dumb? Sheer arrogance I guess. When I was deployed I had opportunities for both sex & alcohol but since I was already well into my fifties I figured I was being set up by CID so I prudently refrained & later retired after promotion with my record & pension intact.
I mean suck it up & go for nine months or however long, do your job, save some dough, stay out of trouble, how difficult is that? My biggest problem was keeping my weight down & passing the PT test so it didn’t wind up on my evaluation report.
