Right now , there isn’t any politician that I would trust in the re-write of the Constitution.

Yes , there is the issue of “States Rights” which should supercede the intrusion of the Federal Govt.
Wasn’t there a discussion of States Rights versus the Federal Government about 150 years ago ?

Unfortunately that idea ended when Lee surrendered to Grant at Appomattox.
