To be fair to Rahm (gag....forgive me!) this call was made by the Preezy. He called Rahm from AF 1 and told him to “do whatever you have to, but get this out of the headlines NOW!”

Has Deadfish ever been on the side of reform? Anybody shocked that he caved to a union? Ultimately, you gotta think there were two parties negotiating on the same side of the table.
