A few of the top 8 seem to be over rated.

I was going to say that a few of the top ones (the physical sciences, math and statistics, etc.) seemed *under*rated, but revised it because not everybody who *majors* in a field necessarily will *enter* that field, be successful in it, or even graduate, for that matter.

Which ones, those in the liberal arts?

There’s a pretty strong bias at FR that humanities majors are stupid and that they only study the humanities because they couldn’t cut it in the hard sciences.

Physics and philosophy majors have both tended to lead in this area over time. (I remember a retired physics professor at a very elite science and engineering school confessing to me once that the engineering faculty always seemed a bit slow to him.)
