Didn’t several States decide to apportion their electoral votes by the popular vote? Colorado comes to mind.

They signed on to an agreement to do that if a majority of other states did the same. We're a long ways from that.

I recall at the time thinking that hinging your State’s electoral vote on the outcome of other State’s popular vote would be asking for an election to be tied up in courts for months/years.

Heck, the sitting president could go waaay past his term waiting an outcome.

I just got a chill down my spine.
