Romney is the only choice.
A vote for anyone else is a votr for Obama.
Yeah that ship has sailed. Romney/Ryan 2012.
The economy is anemic. The fiscal cliff looms on the horizon.
The socialist barbarians are literally at the gate and need to be repelled.
IMHO, your unrelevant thread is an unnecessary distraction and as such, not helpful.
We are not electing a religious leader.
We are electing a head of government.
Render a vote for Caesar when appropriate and keep it separate from your duty to God.
Read scripture. Through the ages, Jehovah has chosen flawed and sometimes ungodly men to accomplish his purposes.
Consider the possibility that He sent Obama as punishment, and shut up about Romney.
After yesterday, you have the gall, the audacity, the chutzpah to post something like this??? Are you out of your freaking mind??? Stuff this sh!t.
Somewhere around 6:30, he says that if you don’t have a Christian to vote for, you choose the guy who has the best foundation of truth that will support Christianity in society.
I don’t think anyone agrees that Obama is that man.
It’s clearly a matter between a Muslim and a Mormon — choose your poison.
The answer he gives: “He who would provide the strongest moral soil in which to grow Christian faith”, is useful. But in the current political reality, the real question is: “Which one loves and reveres the Constitution the most?”
The answer in 2012 is no contest. I say that because that question actually covers the moral soil for the growth of the Christian faith (which needs only benign neutrality in order to thrive).
Romney (and most Mormons) take the Constitution very seriously (even Harry Reed would, if only he knew what it says). obama HATES the Constitution. To him it is a bore and a bother. Oh, he finds the 14th Amendment and the Commerce Clause useful; but has every intention of governing entirely outside the rest of the Constitution; that is why he needs 2 more Communists on the Supreme Court; that is why he must be defeated. Otherwise, game over.
All are wrong but at least the Mormons share the better assumptions of the more correct and righteous listed above—namely that one should at least try to live as Jesus Christ did with the rest being superfluous to the all just and all merciful Almighty--meaning we will all get what we deserve regardless of doctrine dogma belief faith hunch feeling or opinion...period!.
I repeat what Jedidiah said: “We are not electing a religious leader.”
consiudering recents events in the middle east do yoyu really want to let O have another term???
Turning the question around, which candidate is the greater threat to religious freedom?
Thank you for posting. I enjoyed hearing his thoughts on this & agree with his opinion on Christians voting for a Mormon.
