The worst normalcy bias I ever saw was Sept 11, 2001. That event certainly clued me into who around me was going to be an asset during any kind of non-normal situation.

Yep. The 9/11 attacks were also my wake up call.

It's starting to get eerie now, I know more folks prepping than not. I used to be the one to initiate that conversation, not so anymore.
