Is someone saying that the voter machines are fraudulent? Are they tallying votes incorrectly?
I'm certain, short of fraudulent machines, that a vote for Goode gets placed in the Goode column, and it gets tallied for Goode.
In my case, I NEVER intended to vote for Romney, so he is not lacking one single vote if I don't vote for him, which I won't.
I’m still wondering why the Romney supporters think that we’re beholden to them to vote for their candidate, like they naturally own our votes, and we’re “stealing” them from them if we don’t vote for Myth Rom-gay or something.
Seriously, some of these Romney supporters are some childish, childish people. Not all of them, but some of them are definitely getting there.
Frankly, I think it’s because they’re starting to act a lot like Obama supporters - we MUST elect their guy because he’s going to “save” the country. This attitude shows a disconcertingly worldly view of things, like government is going to save us, because government is our god or something. Many of Romney’s supporters are turning into the mirror image of Obama supporters - desperate, lovers of government more than lovers of God, convinced that only earthly expedients and the arm of man can save us. Some of them are even starting to sound like Romney is going to solve all of their personal problems, too (seriously, there was one thread last night that was at least edging into that territory).
I haven’t the heart to suggest to the Romney supporters that it could very well be that if Romney wins in November, it’s because Romney is being used by God as His instrument of judgment on America. After all, when even “conservatives” actively WANT a pro-death, pro-gay, anti-freedom candidate to win, we’re well and good into the “getting what we asked for, whether we really wanted it or not” realm.
But that would be gauche. So I dare not suggest it.
The only reason I can think of to ever possibly vote for Romney would be that it might help Republicans on down the ticket get elected. Maybe, just maybe (but I won’t hold my breath here) they could act as a restraint on Romney’s more...unfortunate...tendencies. At any rate, if he does win in Nov., starting Nov. 7, there needs to be a grassroots organisation that kicks into place to be ready and willing to primary him - even as a sitting President - in 2016 should he step out of line. I don’t care if it embarrasses him or the Party leadership.
