This is nuts kook eyes-crossed bouncing-off-the-walls stuff.
I thought that right away. Yet, I've seen other unexplainable deals put together when no one was watching.
Yep. 250,000 gallons is about what goes over the American Falls in a second. And I don’t see any reference to China in the article, maybe I missed it.
This a$$hat is giving away our country! He must be stopped!
I didn’t find anything on Snopes about it, but it does sound pretty damned out there to me.
Jenny Granholm with other governors and Canada put together lots of deals that we’ll be paying for forever.
You sure about that?
FR at its finest.
“Wouldn’t it be cheaper to desalinate ocean water.”
I was thinking the same thing.
It seems like it would be cheaper for the Chinese to build a series of de-salinazation plants along their coastline than to buy and ship water from Lake Michigan at a mark-up of 240 times production costs to Nestle.
It would seem more efficient just to desalinate the China sea.
It's worse than you think!!!!! I read Obama intends to sell 14,000,000 liters of our precious air to North Korea EVERY SINGLE DAY!!!!1!!!11!!!!!1! AIR THAT WE NEED TO BREATHE!!!!!!1!!!!
If you lived here and saw some of the crap they’ve tried to pull with the water in the past you wouldn’t think it was out there at all. Things like taxes imposed by the square foot for parking lots due to rainwater impediment. There’s a group pushing legislation to impose meters on private wells. A few years back I caught a guy measuring how far my well was from the lake.
It certainly isn’t an easy thing, but lake levels can drop fairly easy from exporting (To China and the SW U.S.) and a couple of years of drought.
The next thing is when our food growers sell their entire crops to foreign nations, likely China too
This is coming. Russia took all the wheat from the Ukraine and let the people there starve by the millions.
LOOK IT UP!
WAKE UP, AMERICA!
So we are selling bottled water to the Chicoms at a 240X markup and the sky is falling? Oh my! I am pretty sure it wasn’t that long ago we were worried about rising lake levels.
I am more worried about California siphoning the water off into their worker’s paradise. Not that the water would be missed but because we shouldn’t encourage any further migration to that place.
Great article here if you want the technical details:

big tankers cant go through the Panama Canal
I heard that they were importing it to run their hydroelectric dams.
They are not “our” food growers unless we now have communist collectives. Those farms are privately owned and the owners are free to sell their products were ever and to who ever they wish. If they wish to sell it to the Chicoms that is the right to do so.
If you do not like that idea then you are free to buy your own farm and sell exclusively to US citizens.
ROFL!
