I thought Goldwater was 1960 but then I’m not good on dates. I lived in NYC for 10 months after getting out of school but hated the city. Remember taking the A train to work—it was a pittance then. I need grass and trees and open spaces. Amazing you survived. In fact I remember the Rosenbergs were executed when I lived there—down on 13th street. People were rioting over at Union Square.

I too am amazed I survive the 60s...LOL I was at NYU 64-68..Washington Square..unreal. I was a gofer ( back then that’s what they called “interns” of Bill Buckley’s 1965 run for Mayor of NYC...it was an amazing experience...
