I was talking to this guy living in Southern Jersey yesterday on the train to Yankee Stadium. He tells me his property taxes are 16/k year and his business property taxes are 9/k year.
Asked what he thought he got for all that NJ tax extortion?

He must have a huge property. But let’s say you are a retiree living on a fixed income, how does one afford to live there with that kind of taxes?
