Obama finally orders flags at half-mast for Astronaut Neil Armstrong. Flags to flown at half mast on Friday, after his funeral... only.
Thanks for posting those. A life, indeed. I saw him with all the other living Apollo astronauts in Oshkosh in 1994 for a 25th anniversary thing.
What I remember most was one of the astronauts up on stage reminicing, the sun had gone down, and a Concord took off in full afterburner right behind us, quite a sight.
Everyone turned and looked, and the astronaut said “Everyone stand up and take a look...we are looking up here too!”
I loved it. It said everything about those men, and all of it good.
Obama does not even have the dignity to let the Armstrong Family have a State Funeral.

My list is dead. The Obama machine killed it. The site was hacked and will likely come down in its entirety after the election. If you log onto the site, Google now lists it as “an attack” site. :) -I guess it is, in a way.
As for profit, the site has never made one. Not much of a business model.
I posted this and left no link to my site, nor to my ping list and only was trying to show that Obama’s belated offering of this hero’s rememberance came only after he carefully put his wet finger to the wind and figured it would be prudent to do so.
I know full well that the promotion of the site rankles some. Apparently it rankles you.
