So far, I’ve been impressed with the focus of the Romney team. Quick rebuttals. Sharp ads. On top of it.
Seems to me that this, too, may have been scripted. Calculated.

They’re taking his remark and flipping it, like the did Dan Cathy at Chick-fil-A.
Dan Cathy said that he “believed in traditional marriage”...the gays and the press reported that he is “against gay marriage”.
Romney said he’s never been asked to show his birth certificate, from the left they said Romney is a “birther”, not believing obama has a birth certificate.
So far, obama hasn’t shown one...one that’s real, anyway.

We now have two Americas. In my opinion, it will not cease until a crisis shall have been reached and passed. "A house divided against itself cannot stand." I believe this government cannot endure, permanently, half statist and half free; I do not expect the house to fall; but I do expect it will cease to be divided. It will become all one thing, or all the other.

It was a stupid comment, an unforced error. Romney isn’t a “birther,” but now he’s given the opposition ammo to say that he is, or is catering to extreme elements, etc. Stupid. He should have known the media would pounce on it.

Delusional. My brother, a proud ex-hippie Obama voter, told me yesterday that he thinks Obama is a terrible president - more terrible than Jimmy Carter. Has not kept his promises.
